From The Quran:

009.071. The Believers men and women are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers practise regular charity and obey God and His Apostle. On them will God pour His mercy: for God is Exalted in power, Wise.

Surah Tauba, Ayat # 71 (Translation by Abdullah Yousuf Ali)

-------------
Quick Notes:
-------------
1. Azaan Player is designed to be launched at startup. It remains on screen for a few seconds and then minimizes to the system tray where a "clock" icon appears. It will run in the background and play azaan at prayer time. [After first installation, the user must manually start Azaan Player from the "StartMenu->Programs->Startup->Azaan Player"]

2. To access AzaanPlayer while it is running in the background, either left-click on the clock icon or right-click and choose from menu.

3. To stop the azaan when it is playing, click on the clock icon in the system tray (to display Azaan Player) and press STOP. Azaan will stop immediately. It will play at the next prayer time. To stop playing azaan altogether, clear the 'Play azaan at prayer time' check box.

4. The calculation of Qiblah direction does not take into account the Magnetic Declination at the location. Except for locations near the North and South poles, the error is negligibly small.

5. To generate prayer times data for your city, you will need information on its latitude, longitude and timezone relative to GMT. The program has built-in information on over 200 cities. If your city is not listed, you can either use the information of a nearby city OR get the required information from
	i. world map (included) or
	ii. Internet (hot link provided)

Follow the +/- sign convention for North/South and East/West.

6. While using TimeCalc (for generating prayer times for a location), make sure that the name of output file for printing the prayer times is "AzaanTimes.dat" as Azaan Player uses information present in this file for tracking daily prayer times. For your records however, you can direct the output to any filename.

7. The calculated prayer times are found to have a maximum error of about +/- 8 minutes (observed usually in Isha prayer time during winter season).

8. To exit AzaanPlayer, right click on the clock icon in the system tray, and choose 'Exit'.

9. If azaan fails to play at its time, check to see that Windows MediaPlayer is installed on your PC and configured to run .M3U files (If you have Explorer 5 and above, it will be installed by default). This can be done by launching Windows Media Player from
	C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe
Click on View -> Options -> Formats
Check on MP3 Format Sound (to enable playing .M3U file types)

10. Please make sure that the date and time on your PC are set correctly. This is necessary in order to have azaan at the right time for your city.
